L.A pianist and composer John Carroll Kirby has released a new video for the slow-moving, piano centred track 'Blueberry Beads', lifted from his 2020 album My Garden; a collection of gentle, jazz-inflected piano with warm electronics. Directed by John Carroll Kirby and Angela Suarez, the new video has a strong focus on natural elements; birds fly among the clouds, Kirby swims with the fish in a clear blue sea and offers the lens a view of the frog he's found. Kirby “Angela and I met in Merida, and then traveled around the Yucatan and Oaxaca picking up shots where we felt the inspiration. I feel like the loose easy going nature of the video reflects the feeling of the song, which itself was put together spontaneously”.
